Artisan - Blacksmith, David Burtt

Over on the coast of Maine tucked away in a barn behind an old colonial farm David Burtt has a dog and a forge. He spends is days taking steel - mostly recycled - and making into art. Not high brow art, but the kind of art that makes a house complete or a backyard just right. While I was there David was plowing through the tedium of drilling holes for a railing and his dog Pete was figuring out a way to escape.
