Trail running season in New Hampshire

There is a time between late October and early December that is devoid of any interesting outdoor activities. The warm sun of late autumn has long since faded although a few of the hardest of men and women still scrap out a few hours here and there. The ice has yet to build to a thickness that makes any kind of sense to climb. So what is left to do, is run, if you can do it with a bright orange vest on. Enjoy, the last of fall, winter is coming.

Sierra Magazine

The November/ December issue of Sierra Magazine has an article on ice climbing in North Conway, NH. "Ice Manliness Cometh" was written by David Ferris and an excerpt can be found online, or go grab the print version. The article has three of my images of local climber and owner of International Mountain Climbing School, Brad White.
