Trail running season in New Hampshire
There is a time between late October and early December that is devoid of any interesting outdoor activities. The warm sun of late autumn has long since faded although a few of the hardest of men and women still scrap out a few hours here and there. The ice has yet to build to a thickness that makes any kind of sense to climb. So what is left to do, is run, if you can do it with a bright orange vest on. Enjoy, the last of fall, winter is coming.Labels: autumn, running, train running, winter

Autumn in New Hampshire.. It's Here
Every year it happens, kids go back to school, there a certain calm settles over the mountains, and valleys. Then the tour buses, rubberneckers, and slow moving gauwkers come to town. This year, even with the dire predictions of global warming ruining the intensity of the fall foliage, they come, and will not be disappointed.
