Aerial photography and video, drone photography, whatever you want to call it really adds a lot to any project, whether it's a story, conservation project or adventure drone photography and video provides a unique perspective that elevates the depth and quality..
I have had my FAA section 107 license for over 5 years and have flown various drones in a wide range of conditions. Windy, snowy days around Mount Washington filming ice climbers or hovering over swimmers on a placid lake in Maine. Each opportunity brings different challenges but they all provide a look and feel that really brings a story to life.
Get in Touch -
I'm always willing to connect via email or phone to get a project started on the right foot. Feel free to email me here, text or call.
Budget -
From pre-planning to permitting all the way to packing up and returning home it all takes time and effort. My experience has been that I can create a plan and scope of work for any budget. Sometimes things need to be eliminated to work within a smaller budget or changes made to get everything done. Feel free to call or email with your project details and we can work together to maximize budgets and creative capacity. I'll do my best to provide an accurate budget as soon as possible. The more details you provide the quicker and more accurate I can be with estimates.
Equipment -
I use a couple of different DJI Mavic drones for most projects. They provide high-quality video and still capabilities as well as a robust safety and obstacle avoidance package. The priority for any flight is the safety of people and property so having a well-designed drone is important as well as pre-planning and flight plans that are realistic and appropriate for the given project and situation.
Flight Planning -
Keep in mind that The White Mountains, State Parks and other areas around New England have flight restrictions and we are required to obey those in our planning and flights. If you have projects or assignments that are in far-flung places let's talk and do some basic research to make sure we can work in those areas before we get too far into the budget and planning phases. New England has a huge variety of landscapes and terrain which makes it the perfect place to tell your story in a variety of ways. If you're looking for a location for an upcoming project feel free to get in touch and we can go over all the many wild and exciting locations that drones and New England can provide.
Stock Aerial Images and Footage -
Over the years I've built a library of aerial photographs and stock video footage from all over New England. So if you're looking for a few seconds of fall foliage to add to a commercial or you need a specific aerial photo of a particular spot let me know what you need and I'll look through my library and see if I have something that is ready to deliver. This can also be a great option for those projects that need a four-season look but only have quick turnaround time, or a smaller budget.
